About Stafford Painting & Restoration
Founded by Rob Stafford in 2021, Stafford Painting & Restoration brings together fine painting, historic window and door restoration, specialty plaster finishes, and custom carpentry. We begin by understanding the building, its existing materials, and what its owner values. From traditional linseed paint and lime plaster to refined contemporary finishes, our approach respects the character of each project. Based in Landenberg, Pennsylvania, we serve Delaware, southeastern Pennsylvania, and Philadelphia.
Rob learned from experienced painters and an older generation of craftsmen across multiple trades. His interest in history found a practical outlet restoring original windows in Historic New Castle. Drawn to both the artistry and problem-solving of the work, he believes meaningful craftsmanship belongs in everyday homes as much as prominent historic properties. Trained in Fine Paints of Europe finishes, linseed paints, and lime plasters, he continues to develop his skills across painting, restoration, and carpentry.
Whether your priority is period-correct preservation or a refined modern finish, we assess the underlying problems, discuss repair options and samples, and agree on a clear scope. Our principles are straightforward: keep improving the craft, pay attention to the details, and listen carefully to the client.
